Blount Announces 2016 Food Show Schedule

NY Restaurant Show and ExpoWest kick off a busy 2016 season of Bringing Blount To You!

The mass of attendees four-deep to sample Blount’s soups, sides and entrées has become a standard sight on the floors of retail and restaurant industry trade shows over the last several years.  The lines will still be there, but things will be different this year, and the bottleneck in the isle should get some relief as well.

“We certainly love passing out samples and seeing the smile just one spoonful of a great soup or side dish puts on a person’s face,” says Bob Sewall, Blount’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  “But we also want to be able to talk to every visitor with questions, have space to catch up when old friends stop by, and quite frankly, the bottlenecks people seeking our soups create aren’t really very friendly to our neighbors.”

Bob Sewall HeadShot ColorTo address Sewall’s goals, Blount’s marketing team went back to the drawing board to re-think everything.  What was born tapped architectural principles of flow, form and function, and gives Blount what should become an iconic landmark on the show floors of the food industry’s top conferences and gatherings.

Blount’s busy season kicks off with three shows in March.  The first stop will be the NY Restaurant Show (officially known as the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York), March 6-8 at the Javits Center in New York City.  The best food in the house will be ladled up at booth #2301.

Just two days later is the National Association of College & University Food Services’ (NACUFS) 2016 Midwest Regional Conference at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

ExpoWest logoFrom there, Blount’s Mad March continues on to Anaheim, Calif. to the Natural Products Expo West, the world's largest natural, organic and healthy products event, where more than 70,000 chefs, buyers and entrepreneurs gather to see what is new and delicious from more than 2,700 exhibiting manufacturers and suppliers.
