With this, the last weekday of Daylight Savings Time, the season has fully and officially changed.  The days are longer, the temperatures lower, and the wardrobe covers more of us than it did just a few weeks ago.  To borrow a phrase, Winter Is Coming!

While winter is not here just yet, Soup Season is upon us, which means all of us at Blount Fine Foods are busy, busy, busy.  We’re operating around the clock and there is a buzz in the air as if our Fall River, Mass. headquarters is in the North Pole.

We’re going to sell more soup this year than we ever have before, which means shoppers around the country will be enjoying more premium soup than ever before.  As good as our soup is when you heat it right out of the package (believe us, it’s the very best!), most Blount Soups also double as incredible ingredients in other dishes. 

Today, we’d like to show you an example of what we mean.  In the video below, Corporate Executive Chef Jeff Wirtz shows how to make Chicken Tortilla Casserole with Blount chicken tortilla soup and a few other basic ingredients.
